Orange Chicken – 427 Calories

Ingredients

  • 125g chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg white
  • 20g panko breadcrumb 
  • 1/2tsp onion powder
  • 1/2tsp garlic powder
  • 75g broccoli
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
Orange Sauce
  • 50ml fresh orange juice
  • 50ml water
  • 1/2 tsp corn starch
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce (or to taste)
  • 3g ginger, minced 
  • 3 tsp Thai sweet chilli sauce (or to taste)
  • Dried chilli, optional

Instructions

  1. Pre heat air fryer or oven to 400 Fahrenheit
  2. Mix the panko breadcrumbs with the onion and garlic powder and season lightly with salt
  3. Mix the chicken in the egg white then transfer to the breadcrumbs and mix well
  4. Put the chicken in the air fryer basket & spray lightly with oil then cook for 7-8 minutes or until the chicken is cooked (or cook in the oven)
  5. Meanwhile, steam or boil the broccoli so it’s par cooked
  6. In a small pan, add the orange juice, water, soy sauce, ginger, honey and chilli, bring to a boil
  7. Mix the corn starch with a little water, add it to the sauce and cook for 30 seconds until thickened
  8. Add the broccoli, cooked chicken and mix well, season to taste and serve

NOTES

  • You can serve as it is or with rice
