Oatmeal & Strawberry Jam – 273 Calories

Ingredients

  • 45g oats
  • 220ml water
  • 100g strawberries
  • 0 cal maple syrup, to taste
  • 60g yoghurt, 0% fat
  • 10g strawberry protein powder

Instructions

  1. Add the oats, water and a little 0 calorie sweetener to a bowl with a pinch of salt and microwave for 3-4 minutes, stirring every minute
  2. Meanwhile, add the strawberries to a pot with a little 0 calorie maple syrup, cook over a medium heat and crush them, once thickened, adjust sweetness
  3. Mix the yoghurt and protein powder together until smooth
  4. Taste the oats and adjust sweetness then transfer half to a small container or bowl, add the jam to the middle then the remaining oats on top and put in the fridge to cool
  5. Top with the yoghurt and a little chopped strawberry

NOTES

  • You can cook oats in a pot
  • You can use any 0 calorie sweetener
  • You can blend the strawberries then cook them, it’s a little quicker
  • It can be eaten hot or cold and also made the night before
