Jelly & Protein Custard – 185 Calories

  • 10g strawberry gelatin, 0 calorie (see notes)
  • 500ml water
  • 120g sliced mango
For the custard
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 60g strawberry protein powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 240ml low fat milk


  1. Prepare the gelatin according to package instructions, divide between 3 glasses or bowls and put in fridge to set
  2. Heat the milk in a small pot but don’t boil
  3. Blend the eggs, protein powder, vanilla, corn starch and milk until smooth
  4. Pour half the milk into the blender with the egg mixture and blend for a few seconds
  5. Pour the mixture into the remaining milk and cook on a low heat for 1-2 minutes until thickened
  6. Leave to cool then divide between glasses of jelly and top with the mango


  • You can use whichever flavor gelatin & protein powder you want
  • You can change mango for another fruit
  • Different gelatins may need more or less water, follow the packet instructions for best results!
